This treatment is used to alleviate neck, head, and facial pain caused by conditions such as pain, inflammation, or vascular diseases.

Stellate ganglion block temporarily blocks the nervous system to alleviate pain. This procedure is typically done using local anesthetics and is accurately injected into the designated area using ultrasound, X-rays, or other imaging techniques during the procedure. The duration of the block's effect can range from a few hours to several weeks, depending on the type of local anesthetic used and the patient's condition.

Stellate ganglion block is commonly used to alleviate chronic pain, migraines, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, neuropathic pain, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), and, in some cases, to relieve cardiac symptoms. Stellate ganglion block is used to relieve pain in the following diseases:

• Migraines: Used to alleviate headaches and other symptoms occurring during migraine attacks.
• Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy: This condition manifests with pain, swelling, temperature changes, and other symptoms following trauma. Stellate ganglion block can be used to alleviate these symptoms.
• Neuropathic Pain: This type of pain arises from nerve damage, resulting in chronic pain. Stellate ganglion block can be used to alleviate such pain.
